Intro

The dreaded C word. Compliance and care goes hand in hand. Care without compliance equates to chaos and poor outcomes for our clients. Taking a walk in the park with compliance can be daunting in aged care. We have heard and perhaps witnessed many failings in aged care. The Royal Commission into Aged Care was an awakening moment for many of us. While preparing ourselves and others for a new future in aged care, we are still obligated to demonstrate our readiness for Compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards. Will meeting compliance be a prerequisite for entry into the Support at Home Program? Do we need to take care of our compliance obligation before taking the bold steps into Support Home Program? Are you leaving the compliance work until it's too late?

Overview

The 45min session will cover aspects of meeting the compliance requirement in Aged Care Standards with a focus on CHSP providers. How ready is your organization to meet the "request for information from the Commission? How well do you respond to managing high impact risk and vulnerable clients? Ho robust is your organization's governance? How does clinical governance apply CHSP services? Arm with practical steps and equip yourself with the knowledge and preparedness tips for the upcoming Quality review or compliance in aged care.
